01

Open CaretakerMP.Launcher.exe from the extracted CaretakerMP folder. Choose a player name and browse to your game executable.

02

Select saves

Confirm the SaveGames folder. This is where hosted world bundles are previewed, backed up, and installed.

03

Install Hook

After UE4SS is installed, use Install Hook to copy the CaretakerMP hook template and enable the mod entry.

Launcher command

.\CaretakerMP.Launcher.exe

Hosts

Run a Windows crew server.

01

Open Server GUI

Start CaretakerMP.ServerGui.exe, choose a profile, set ports, max players, server password, save folder, and resources folder.

02

Start server

Click Start Server. Server GUI starts the local server, watches session health, and keeps host actions inside the selected profile.

03

Publish world

Choose a SaveGames source, fill shared world name, in-game save label, note, and uploader, then publish the bundle.

04

Optional public listing

Public listing requires a public DNS name or IPv4. Server GUI blocks invalid Public host values when Advertise is checked.

05

Crew sync check

Enable Auto second player after the first real player sends state to confirm snapshots, radar, and cleanup.

Server GUI command

.\CaretakerMP.ServerGui.exe
